Green Building with high energy for Pall Italia project headquarter, which allows PCMR to experiment with the extensive research carried out over the years, well before the coming into force of the specific regulations on the subject of environmental sustainability.

The result is a green building with high energy realized with the best available technologies.

In 2004, after forty years of continuous development, which took place in costly rented buildings which forced the separate distribution of the activities, Pall Italia felt the need of its own site, which it could unify offices and laboratories, thereby developing the synergy between commercial and technical activities.

The new Pall Italia site is divided into three units, two of which are newly built (Buildings A and B) and are located side by side on the Via Emilia, while the third (Building O') is slightly angled and is rebuilt from a pre-existing establishment.
Building A, intended for offices and business visits, was the one which offered Progefto CMR the greatest opportunities for tech-nological and linguistic experimentation.
Building B which houses the laboratories and clean rooms, in which the critical Life Sciences activities of Pall Italia are car-ried out, is strongly characterised by a casing in transparent polycarbonate, which can be compared with the theme of the architectural "skin", now common in the international composi-tional language.
On the first floor, Building C houses laboratories for the study of applications in the industrial division, which include both controlled contamination environments for the microbiological analysis of food & beverage and water sectors and the cleanness of components.
