2. The new Musée du Quai Branly in Paris
Always as project of the Ateliers Jean Nouvel, Unifor has taken care and created the permanent exhibitive components that occupy about 6,000 m2 inside the great volume (170x35 m) that make up the main part of the museum.

The Italian company has realized all the 300 display windows that are located inside the museum, finding specific solutions for each: fiber optic lighting, integration of multimedia systems, support bases hidden under the floating floor, dustproof and safety fastening systems, use of paints that chemically do not interfere with the works on display. 25 “boites” have also been created, real thematic exhibition rooms embedded in the north side wall. Designed as to not encumber on the structures of the museum, the “boites” differ in thematic display and finishings.

Unifor has then supervised the construction of 290 linear metres of the long 'anthropomorphic sculpture' that unfolds within the volume of the museum, dividing the spaces and linking the various heights of the ramps, thus solving significant problems connected to the irregularities of the sloped floors. Totally made of metal to respond to the fireproof requirements, it has then been completely coated in leather and disposes internally of a complex integrated multimedia system: LCD videos, audio systems, three-dimensional view binoculars, tactile integrations on the leather’s surface, data transmission systems by radio waves for people with hearing aids, motion sensors and many computers that coordinate the multimedia installations.

Unifor has obviously also realized and furnished all the offices that occupy the five floors of the administrative. and managing block of the museum.
