Product Description Ergonomic, swivel, task chairs, with or without armrests. Two types of chairs are available: low or medium back, all are upholstered and covered with external protective carters. Meeting and visitor chairs, swivel or fixed, with cantilever or 4 legs; all are available with or without armrests.

Base materials and finishings 3 types of SWIVEL FIVE-STARS BASES are available: -Plastics: polyamide (nylon) frame, reinforced with fibreglass, injection pressed, antiscuff embossed black finishing. The base is equipped with wheel bushes for quick clutch of castors or glides. -Upholstered metal: steel frame, covered with polypropylene black caps, injection pressed, with antiscuff embossed black finishing. The base is equipped with wheel bushes for quick clutch of castors or glides. -Aluminium: pressure die casting aluminium frame, black or silver (RAL 9006) painted with epoxy powders electrostatically fixed or polished brushed. For visitor chairs there are also 3 types of FIXED BASE: -Cantilever base with integrated armrests: iron frame Fe37, cold rolled, formed by a curved tube, Ø25 mm., thickness 2,5 mm., and plate for fixing, thickness 4 mm. The structure is equipped with arms covered in polypropylene PP copolymer, antiscuff embossed surface finishing, black or silver (RAL 7047). Metal components are finished with galvanic treatment of chromium-plating or painted in black, silver (RAL 9006) with epoxy powders electrostatically fixed. -Cantilever base: frame in iron Fe37, cold rolled, formed by a bent tube, Ø28 mm., thickness 2 mm., and fixing plate thickness 3 mm. The structure is equipped with anti-reversal slides in black polypropylene. Metal components are finished with galvanic treatment of chromium-plating or painted in black, silver (RAL 9006) with epoxy powders electrostatically fixed. -4 legs base: frame in iron Fe37, cold rolled, formed by a bent tube, Ø25 mm. thickness 2 mm., and fixing plate thickness 3 mm. Multi-ply wood seat, thickness 12 mm., formed by n. 8 beech ply, thickness 15/10, heat-bent and assembled with low- formaldehyde glues.

Technical characteristics Task chairs are equipped with back tilt mechanism with safety release system and body weight tensioner; on demand they can be equipped with seat depth adjustment facility.

Wheel types and characteristics Rotating and self-braking , Ø50, pin 11mm., with fairing in shockproof plastics, which avoids the penetration of hair, threads, etc..; the quick clutch pin is in galvanized steel, and the rotating components have a dual tread. Chairs are equipped with rubber castors, suitable for hard surfaces; hard castors, recommended for surfaces like carpets – or glides, suitable for any kind of surface, are available on request.

Chair height regulator Yes

Regulating systems System formed by a pneumatic gas pump, activated by a lever located in the mechanism. The piston is inserted in a steel column, black painted with epoxy powders electrostatically fixed, outer covered by a telescopic carter in black polypropylene with embossed surface finishing. The regulation column is equipped with conical extremes for fixing in the mechanism and in the base.

The armrest is fixed to the seat through an iron plate Fe37, rectangular section 70 X 6 mm, cold-rolled. Metal components are black painted with epoxy powders electrostatically fixed. -Fixed polyurethane: closet anti-tangling armrest, frame in iron plate Fe37, rectangular section 20 mm x 6 mm, cold rolled, and steel plate thickness 6 mm, fully upholstered with black polyurethane, black painted with embossed surface finishing. -Adjustable H/W: “T-shaped” armrest, adjustable in height (course: 66 mm.) and width (course: 30 mm. per side) with rotating cap (opening angle: from +30° to –30°); tubular frame Ø 38 mm., thickness 1,2 mm., caps covered with black polyurethane with embossed surface finishing. The armrest is fixed through a steel plate thickness 3mm. Metal components are finished with galvanic treatment of chromium-plating or painted in black, silver (RAL 9006) with epoxy powders electrostatically fixed.

For the assembly of multi-ply materials, low-formaldehyde glues are used, complying with the EN 717-2/94. Italian ministerial homologation regarding the product’s reaction to fire in Class 1 IM (UNO I EMME), complying with the Italian ministerial decrees dating 26/06/1984 and 03/09/2001.
