Structural characteristics
The wall system is based on a perimeterical profile made of extruded aluminum size 60 x 30 mm, fixed on floor and ceiling though expansion plugs (only this assembly condition ensures best partition’s stability.
A PVC co-extruded rigid / soft seal ensures tight seal around the entire perimeter of partitions.
Leveling and adjustment of glass panels is done though a regulator screw inserted into lower perimeter, made of plastic and aluminum alloy and operated by a screwdriver. The wall consists mainly of glass elements, in tempered glass thickness 12 mm (as other option, you can use laminated glass 6 +6).
The vertical and three-way connections of glazed panels is realized with appropriate profiles in transparent polycarbonate, with a double-sided tape to allow perfect union of glazed partitions. The 90° corners are resolved using an extruded aluminum profile size 50 x 50 mm. Another anodized aluminum profile is necessary to allow the connection with "STRUCTURAL" partition range, thus creating an integrated system of different partitions.
Doors
On this type of wall, one can apply sliding or swing doors, made of tempered glass 10/12mm completed, if necessary, with technical “cavedio” for electrification, consisting of two shells made of anodized aluminum, mounted on two vertical posts in extruded aluminum, or door modules, zippered pockets, wooden drums, various finishes, 56mm thickness, together with technical cavedio for electrification.
The glass doors have a chromed hinge fixed at bottom and top, Ø50x80 cylindrical shape, with a device allowing block whilst opening and closing.
Two vertical uprights, when appropriately shaped, are applied, they are made of extruded aluminum. The sliding doors are hung on a sliding track, made of extruded aluminum, section 60 x 35, suitably fixed on the top, inside of which two made of bent sheet painted with epoxy powders trucks run.
Underneath the door there is a runner in stainless steel, and coated in Teflon inside.
All glass doors are equipped with vertical cylindrical handles 30mm diameter, made of brushed stainless steel with floor lock, removal key, either during opening and closing position.
Total thickness in mm:
EQUO partition range is available in full-height glass option, with full height solid panels or with solid panels and transom.They are respectively 30 and 35 mm thick.
