This new model has been created to meet specific requirements with respect to the space occupied by the armchair: although Concerto is only 45 cm deep, it can be equipped with a writing tablet fold-away in the side. The rear back of the Concerto armchair can also be equipped with the patented Mode.23 system, designed and manufactured by Radio Marconi: this innovative system revolutionises the one-to-one information exchange among the participants in conferences, meetings and university lectures. Besides displaying plain texts, the system also allows users to insert images and film-clips, just as with television screens and computer monitors. |
Base materials and finishings
The anchor plate for floor fixing is in steel 4 mm thick. The covering base is in black varnished steel plate or in varnished solid beechwood. |
Structure material and finishings
Full dismounting armchair. The seat is made of tubular steel with elasticised bearing belts while the back is made of 13 mm beech ply-wood. The upholstered side is made of structural steel with padded side panels. The armrest can be padded and upholstered or in natural varnished beech ply-wood. The tip-up movement of the seat works by gravity. The lower part of the back is covered by a black painted steel plate or by a panel in varnished ply-wood. The optional under-seat is in natural varnished beech ply-wood. All visible metal parts are scratchproof painted with epoxy powder, in black colour. |
Stuffing material
The padding of the seat is filled with self-extinguishing polyurethane, cold-foamed, without the use of CFC; the minimum density is of 55 kg/m3. The padding of the back is filled with self-extinguishing contoured polyurethane foam with the average thickness of 65 mm and the density 40 kg/m3. |
Accessories
Writing tablet fold-away in the side or fixed in the rear back:The anti-panic writing tablet - foldaway in the side - is made of HPL material, 8 mm thick, with rounded edges, black colour; the anti-panic device is steel made.
The anti-panic writing top - fixed on the back - is made of post-formed scratch-resistant bilaminate wood conglomerate with rounded front edge. Side and rear edges in ABS, 2 mm thick. The standard depth is 300 mm and the thickness is 30 mm.
