Dauphin has always meant quality and safety in office work! Millions of people all over the world know about this, since they have been using their ergonomic seats to great satisfaction. The German group, the European leader with a turnover in excess of 150 million euros, has been working for about 30 years and its thinking and actions have always been based on quality and safety. One of the very first to have obtained the ISO 9001 certification in 1993, reconfirmed in 1996, it is managed by Eike and Friedrich W Dauphin, the artistic and strategic minds behind the venture who, along with the top management, co-ordinate the activity of the international team: a winning team, distinguishing themselves for their unrivalled professional skills and expertise. The principal offices and some of the production units are based at Offenhausen, a city set in a lusciously green valley, a few miles from Nuremberg: Dauphin Valley, which for the people in the know also means an Ergonomics Laboratory which produces designs that fulfil the customer's needs. Other production units are located in the UK, Singapore, Spain, the United States and South-Africa. Dauphin started its Italian operations in 1985, becoming one of the leaders brands and the epitome of quality and safety even there; over the years it has become popular for the high professional standards of all its staff and external consultants. The credibility of Dauphin Italia has been appreciated on several occasions by all the best industrial health and safety experts. The Dauphin trademark has been the only one in Italy to have been asked to champion events and initiatives, even in the press, all aimed at one common purpose: to inform, in order to improve the quality of office working life.
